Antonio R. Warner Sentenced To 60 Years For 2008 Rape

July 11, 2012

Antonio R. Warner, 32, was also again deemed a sexually violent predator under Megan's Law and sentenced to a minimum of 30 years in prison and a maximum of 60 years.

Warner was convicted in 2009 and sentenced to 30 to 60 years in prison after a jury found that he beat and repeatedly raped the woman. Warner was granted a new trial in December 2010 because forensic nurse Rhonda Henderson had provided evidence in his case.

"He is a violent predator and can't be on the streets. That's the bottom line," said Assistant District Attorney Erin Connelly, who prosecuted the case and represented the Erie County DA's Office at the sentencing.
