Anthony Hales Guilty Of First Degree Murder.

Anthony Hales found guilty of criminal homicide and murder in the first degree. Hales had been accused of killing his girlfriend, 47 year old Christina Hulsinger at their home in Lake City.

Jurors heard Hales' confession to State Police. He admitted the two had smoked a large amount of crack cocaine and he strangled, attempted to snap her neck, and eventually cut her throat twice with a butchers knife.

The verdict of guilty for first degree murder carries a mandatory sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Assistant District Attorneys Roger Bauer and Brian Krowicki prosecuted the case for the Erie County District Attorney's Office.
