Anthony Shyrone Morrow Sentenced To 20 To 40 Years

Anthony Shyrone Morrow was convicted of Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault and Possessing Instruments of Crime after a jury trial during the November 2011 term of Criminal Court. On January 17, 2012, the Honorable Shad Connelly imposed a sentence of 20 to 40 years for the Attempted Murder to be followed by consecutive term of 1-5 years for the Possessing Instruments of Crime. The Aggravated Assault conviction merged with the Attempted Murder and no sentence was imposed.
Morrow was convicted of trying to kill Louis Williams when Morrow shot him on December 31, 2010 at Ray's Last Stop located at the corner of 18th and Raspberry in the City of Erie.
The case was investigated by Det. Sgt. Jon Peters and Det. Sgt. Jim Spagel of the City of Erie's Bureau of Police. The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Roger Bauer.
