Christa Logue Sentenced To Three To Six Years For Homicide By Vehicle

Christa Logue woman was sentenced to three to six years in prison this morning for killing her son in a drunken-driving crash. She must also serve four years on probation and pay a $1,000 fine.

Logue pleaded guilty in October to one count of homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence of alcohol and one count of driving under the influence of a drug.

Logue's 14-year-old son, Joshua Gibson, died on Aug. 1, 2010, after he was thrown from the van Logue was driving on Interstate 79 near Edinboro.

A blood test revealed that Logue's blood-alcohol content at the time she was admitted to the hospital was 0.14 percent.

Assistant District Attorneys Michael Burns and Justin Panaghetti handled the case.
