December 17, 2012The Erie County District Attorney's Office is participating in the Corry School District Mentoring Program by agreeing to answer questions from school students interested in careers in law enforcement and law. Students enrolled in the program can email or call mentors employed at the District Attorney's office and participate in job shadow programs to gain a deeper understanding about the criminal justice system, associated jobs and challenges.

Lebron Terrance Thomas Sentenced A Minimum 22 Years For Home Invasion
December 12, 2012Lebron Terrance Thomas, 41, was sentenced a minimum of twenty-two years incarceration in the Erie County Court of common Pleas on December 10th for very serious assaults that occurred during a home invasion robbery in the 1000 block of W. 20th street in the City of Erie on April 26, 2012.

Kozloff Guilty Of Third Degree Murder In Shooting Death Of Boyfriend
December 10, 2012The jury in the trial of Rachael Ann Kozloff rendered a verdict of guilty on charges of third degree murder in the death of 31 year old Michael Henry.

Fox was wanted in Bradford, on an attempted homicide charge.

Thomas Black Convicted Of Attempted Murder
September 18, 2012A jury found Thomas Black, 37 guilty of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, reckless endangering, unlawful restraint, possession of instruments of crime, and a person not to possess a firearm for shooting his estranged wife in the back during an argument over spousal support in March.
Black, faces a maximum sentence of more than 40 years at his sentencing Nov. 14, 2012

County Detective Mark Rosenthal Leads Way On Erie's Truancy Patrols
September 05, 2012Erie County Detective Mark Rosenthal , along with a couple of Erie Police officers this morning cruised the streets on the west side. While we were along, they found a couple of suspended students and couple of drop-outs.

A number of people in Erie County have been asked to send money to help their potential fiance get to the United States. Correspondents who quickly move to discussion of intimate matters may simpley be scammers. If they are after your money, eventually they will ask for it.

Antonio R. Warner Sentenced To 60 Years For 2008 Rape
July 11, 2012Antonio R. Warner who had been an convicted twice of raping a woman was sentenced this morning to serve up to 60 years in a state prison.
Warner was granted a new trial in December 2010 and convicted a second time for the crimes.
Antonio W. Warner, 32, was also again deemed a sexually violent predator under Megan's Law during a 30-minute hearing that began at 9:30 a.m.
