DA's Office Year In Review
December 30, 2011The Erie County District Attorneyâs Office had a busy and successful year for criminal prosecutions. Most notably maybe the fact that of the 2,991 criminal cases that were listed for trials in the Court of Common Pleas, 2,867 were resolved before actual trial. This fact indicates that state and local police officers and departments did a very good job investigating reported incidents and gathering the evidence need to convict the defendant.
