County Detectives Charge North East Man With Raping Of Erie Girl

County Detectives charged a Donald Sweat of North East with raping and assaulting an Erie girl. Sweat was committed to the Erie County Prison on $100,000 bond on charges of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors.

Fortunately, Erie County District Attorney Jack Daneri has ensured that his office continues to stay ahead of the curve. Cybercrime is the fastest growing crime trend in New York, and around the country, said Manhattan district attorney Cyrus Vance, during a cybercrime symposium at Pace University on Feb. 28. The Manhattan police precincts now record cybercrime and identity theft as their most frequently reported complaints. Thomas Black Sentenced To 15 To 30 Months Consecutively To Attempted Murder Conviction

On Thursday, February 14, 2013 Thomas Black pled no contest to stalking. The factual allegations were that the defendant continuously called and harassed the victim, his former girlfriend. He left both voice & test messages for her and also left notes on her car. He told the Victim that he was watching her & that it would take an army to get him off of her if he went back to jail.

JAMES, 29, was taken into custody at approximately 4:15 yesterday afternoon at the Wingate Hotel on Oliver Road in Summit Township. JAMES faces charges, for the second time, of Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Reckless Endangerment and Kidnapping. JAMES is alleged to have fatally shot Teverous “Gooney” WILLIAMS on July 13, 2012.
