EPD called to shooting in the 1800 block of McClelland Avenue. Reportedly a male was shot twice. Victim transported to UPMC Hamot.

04-15-2012 0500:

Tareek Hanner, 18 man charged in two previous shootings, has been charged with shooting at three men in a car in the 800 block W. 17th street. He is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and simple assault. Between 3 and 5 shots were fired.

04-16-2012 0900:

Male found inside a van at 19th and Myrtle with three shots to the head.

04-12-2012 1800:

Shots fired at 415 E. 18th upstairs apartment. Mike Henry, age 31 found shot to death.

04-09-2012 0900:

EPD dispatched to West 10th and Peach streets for a report of shots fired. One person apprehended & firearm recovered.

04-05-2012 0630:

EPD investigating a man who suffered a gunshot wound to the head.

Emergency responders were called at about 6:30 a.m. to a residence in the 600 block of Pin Oak Drive in southeast Erie.

03-29-2012 2130:


EPD received a report at about 10 p.m. that somebody had been shot in a lot next to East Erie Turners, 829 Parade St. Caller reported that the shooting happened a half-hour before the report to police. Police confirmed a man was being treated for a minor injury to his hand.

03-28-2012 1830:

Police were called to the 1100 block of West 10th Street at about 6:30 p.m. after receiving a report of shots fired at a house.

When officers arrived, they found blood on the front porch and shell casings nearby, but nobody at that residence.

03-25-2012 0010:

MPD investigating shooting at the Oasis Bar, 3122 W. Lake Rd. Two groups were fighting the bar and moved to the parking lot where gunfire erupted. Incident may involved rival motorcycle clubs.

3-23-2012 2300:

400 block of E. 24th St., two 16 year olds arrested after a gun related incident where a 9mm was fired during a argument. EPD recovered a shell casing but no firearm.
