ETN reporting: Three men were shot outside a bar on Erie's east side Wednesday night. No suspects are in custody.
The men were shot during a dispute outside the Spotlight Cafe, 1118 East Lake Road, at about 9:30 p.m., Erie police said. All three fled the scene before police arrived.
Officers found one victim, a 20-year-old Erie man, near the doors to East High School. He had limped there after being shot in the left hip.
A second victim ran to a nearby gas station. Police said he fell near an SUV; a couple in the vehicle got out and helped him. They drove him to UPMC Hamot.
The third man got on a motorcycle and rode to a home in the 200 block of West Third Street, police said. He had been shot in the ankle.
Police were called to the home to assist paramedics, who said the man was drunk and uncooperative. He also was taken to Hamot.
The men's conditions are not known at this time.
Police are investigating possible links to other shootings in Erie in recent weeks. They have not yet determined whether the incident was connected to another report of gunfire behind a bar on Buffalo Road at 1:53 a.m.
No one there was hurt.
